As an Assistant Project Engineer at Tayside Contracts, you will work with an experienced Project Engineer to coordinate and control small to medium sized street lighting installation, maintenance and upgrade contracts.
You will supervise/manage employees and allocate specialist plant, equipment and materials.
You will assist in the planning and preparation of street lighting programmes and associated development of project Health and Safety plans.
If you have experience of working within the Construction, Highways, Street Lighting Industry, managing small to medium sized civil engineering contracts, we'd love to hear from you.
You will have an SVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a relevant subject area and have proven experience of financial management as you are responsible for job cost ledgers on allocated projects.
You will possess good written and verbal communication skills, good organisational skills and the ability to work to set targets.
You will have a positive approach, be a team player with good interpersonal skills.
A Category B Driving Licence or equivalent entitlement to drive in Great Britain is essential.
