  • About the Job Role

  • As a School Crossing Patroller, you will undertake duties concerned with the safe passage of school children and other pedestrians across roads to and from school, which will include control and direction of traffic at crossing areas, operation of hazard warning signs and identification of any roadside hazards.
     
    You will be a confidant, enthusiastic individual who has the ability to:

    - communicate with members of the public
    - hold a school crossing patroller sign in all weather conditions
    - look and see hazardous traffic situations in all directions and;
    - hear potential hazardous traffic situations that may be out of immediate vision.
